November 26th this year marks Thanksgiving, the day in which we gather with family and friends and express our gratitude for each other and all that we have. This year, Dr. Ferdkoff and Plainfield Dental Care would like you to also give thanks to your dental health. With gratitude in mind, here are 3 reasons why you should be thankful that you’ve practiced good oral hygiene, just like the dentist recommended!
- Be Thankful for a Healthy Mouth: Brushing your teeth twice per day, combined with daily flossing and regular rinsing in between meals, are three of the best ways to have a healthy mouth. Using other dental aids such as tongue cleaners, fluoride and any medicated rinses, are also a major factor. We know that these habits can take some time to perfect, but your overall health will benefit along with your beautiful, healthy smile.
- Give Thanks for No Tooth & Gum Sensitivities or Pain: Taking care of your teeth and gums allows you to fully experience and enjoy everything from hot and cold drinks and foods to some sweet treats (in moderation of course!) throughout the Holiday season! Appreciating your clean and strong teeth will keep you on track and healthy throughout the season and the rest of your lifetime.
- Say Thank You for Your Bright Smile: A beautiful, healthy smile is the ultimate goal at Plainfield Dental Care. Regular visits to the dentist at least twice per year, in conjunction with good at-home dental care, is the only way to preserve the smile that you have cared for all this time. Your pearly whites can stay both pearly and white with these regular visits, and with the Holiday Season here, there will be plenty of opportunities for you to show everyone that dazzling smile!
